My Quit:
Greetings fellow quitters!

I am a 28 year old ex-smoker of 13 years from New Jersey. I was hospitalized for inhalation of a cleaning product, while sick with bronchitis, on July 4th 2005 (my quit date!). Since I wasn't able to smoke, or take a deep breath, due to the extreme pain, I decided it was time to quit.

I took up running and health interests instead of paying a multi-billion dollar corporation (whom don’t seem to care on iota about me) to kill myself. These people are profiting off your slow death.

On a happier note, I can now run/jog and as each week goes by, my lungs feel much better and I can breathe easier. Food tastes better but ketchup tastes weird now (don’t know why)! I can also go to a restaurant and sit in the smoke-free section and eat (and breathe) in peace.

Advice:
Treat yourself with the money you saved from not smoking. Don't save it- TREAT YOURSELF AND MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY! You will do it!

photoSet a date 2 months in front. Smoke less every day. Convince yourself each time you smoke that you don't really need this! Remember: ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD!!!
